Our Teachers:
Meet the Teachers at Treble Time Music Studio!
Our talented teachers come from a variety of musical backgrounds, but they all share a common passion: inspiring the love of music in children, adults, and families across Astoria and Long Island City.
Each of our instructors brings a wealth of musical performance and teaching experience to the studio. All of our Music Together® educators have completed the live Music Together® Teacher Training, grounded in research on early childhood and music development. To ensure we stay at the forefront of teaching practices, our team participates in regular workshops and advanced training through Music Together Worldwide.

Stacie Levy-Norris
Director/Music Together® Teacher/Primary Teaching Artist
Meet Stacie, Director & Owner of Treble Time Music Studio
Stacie is the passionate owner and director of Treble Time Music Studio, where she brings her dream of running a private music studio to life. She is especially thrilled to offer Music Together® family music classes, a program she is proud to be licensed to teach.
With over 10 years of teaching experience, Stacie has had the pleasure of guiding students in both Music Together® classes and private lessons at her studio. For her, the most rewarding part of being a music teacher is watching her students grow—whether it’s through the musical milestones they reach in class or their ongoing journey in private lessons. In fact, some of her students have been with her for years, continuing their musical education with piano and voice lessons.
Outside the studio, Stacie lives in Queens with her husband, Brian, their dog, Winston, and a collection of ukuleles, drums, and children’s instruments—her little musical "family."
Stacie teaches Music Together® family music classes, Music Together® infant classes, Rhythm Kids® music classes, as well as private piano and voice lessons at Treble Time Music Studio
Music Together® Teacher

Sam Schulman
Meet Sam!
Sam is an Astoria-based musician passionate about connecting young learners and their grownups to the joy of making music. Her own musical journey began as a child in Berkeley, California, where she and her mom attended Music Together classes as a child. That early experience sparked a lifelong love of music that has carried her through years of choirs, school musical theater, and now to playing guitar and singing in her local band.
With tastes that range from showtunes to punk rock, Sam enjoys blending styles, genres, and music transitions. She discovered her love for music education as a teenager at a summer rock camp, where she had the chance to coach and mentor young bands. Today she is dedicated to creating meaningful educational experiences rooted in expression, experimentation, and exploration — just like the ones that inspired her from the very beginning.
Fun fact- Sam has been in NYC for 15 years, but just moved to Astoria recently. She is THRILLED to be a part of the Astoria community and loves living here!
